Introduction Elevate(her) Aviation is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants engaging with our events, webinars, research, and social media platforms. This policy outlines our approach to safeguarding all individuals, particularly vulnerable adults and young people, from harm, discrimination, and abuse.

2. Scope This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, contractors, speakers, and participants involved in any activities hosted by Elevate(her) Aviation, including online and in-person engagements.

4. Safeguarding Measures

• Event & Webinar Safety:

  • Moderators will be present in online events to ensure respectful discussions.
  • Clear reporting procedures will be in place for any safeguarding concerns.

  • Data collection and storage comply with GDPR and data protection laws.

• Social Media Conduct:
  
  • We monitor our platforms for inappropriate content or harassment.
  • Any reported abuse will be addressed promptly.
  • We encourage respectful discourse and do not tolerate hate speech, discrimination, or threats.

5. Reporting Concerns Anyone who experiences or witnesses a safeguarding issue can report it confidentially to our designated safeguarding officer at hello@elevateheraviation.co.uk. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively.

6. Review & Updates This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure continued compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
