The Women in Aviation Lunch 2022!

This project started in 2022 with the inaugural Women In Aviation Lunch held at Brighton City Airport, it was the first of its kind, and created as a chance for women from all areas of the aviation industry to come together share experiences, network, and talk all things aviation. I initially created this event as I feel I didn’t know any other female pilots! 

With many women in aviation spread out throughout the country, it can feel lonely at times if you are learning to fly, or working in the industry. During the first lunch, I discovered I wasn’t the only one who felt this way! 

The women I spoke to on that day inspired me to take this initiative forward, and create a space where women in aviation are connected, inspired, encouraged and challenged.
